Dancing Alfonso
Synopsis
Alfonso is the lead dancer in a flamenco troupe whereby the average age of its members is 75 and over. After the death of his wife, he obsessively courts Sima, a dancer with the troupe, to his children's dismay. They are unwilling to accept the fact that their father could be interested in another woman. Immediately following the troupe's big show in the Tel Aviv dance center, Alfonso seeks a new woman, after having broken up with Sima.
The film "Dancing Alfonso" provides viewers with a fresh point of view on the inner world of the elderly and the endless search for someone to love.
